Her Story
It all started with love, and continues today!
Starting as a way to send her kids to summer camp, our Mama B began making homemade cheesecakes as a way to fundraise for it and called the project "Cheesecakes for Camp". Years passed and the folks that she made those cheesecakes for kept ordering cheesecakes for special events and get-togethers. Those same people continued to spread the word, and they told their friends, and so on, then the idea came.
While at her kid's Tullahoma Band performance at Frazier McEwen Park, where a couple of food trucks were present, one of Mama B's friends told her "you should get a food truck and put your cheesecake on a stick, everybody loves food on a stick". That was the inspiration that started it all.
Shortly after that, Mama B started her food truck adventure with her kids on board every chance there was to show them the value of hard work. She introduced her cheesecake on a stick, fresh cheesecake by the slice, and custom lemonades to the masses doing roadside setups, private events, and large public events every free weekend there was while balancing her kid's other activities.
After she began the food truck, the recognitions quickly started. She earned the distinction of Tullahoma's Finest Dessert & Tullahoma's Finest Food Truck. She also brought home first place at a cheesecake festival in Murfreesboro (the only cheesecake contest she has ever entered) among some of the finest cheesecake artists around!
Her favorite thing to do is watching people take that first bite to see their eyes light up like a kid on Christmas morning, it never gets old to her.
